Join Hands at Week of the Young Child 2011
Week of the young child aims to celebrate the efforts of teachers, parents, guardians, and adults that play a crucial role in the lives of young children. Learning Care Group celebrates young children with NAEYC to create awareness among people about their mental and physical health. Schedule of “Week of the Young Child”
Planned days of this year’s week of the young child are; April 10th to 16th. On 14th of April from 4:30p.m to 7:30p.m, Learning Care Group, Inc. will host Open House events at La petite, The Children’s Country yard, Tutor Time, Childtime. This week is sponsored by NAEYC; reason behind this celebration is to switch the attention of people towards the needs and necessities of young children to spot the early childhood programs in order to meet their needs. Chief Marketing Officer of Learning Care Group Stacy DeWalt said, “We are truly privileged to be a part of their lives and help lay the foundation for learning. Children are worth celebrating and there is no better time than during Week of the Young Child”.
Themes and Subthemes
Montessori Unlimited, La petite, The Children’s Country yard, Tutor Time and Childtime has joined NAEYC to rejoice this week. All these institutions have planned to make this week unusual through classroom activities and other unique programs. Main theme of 2011 is “Early Years are Learning Years”; whereas subthemes are Where Learning Begins, Embracing Diversity, Teaching and Teachers matters, Encouraging Health and Fitness, Investing in Young Children Benefits All, and Prevent the Achievement Gap.
2011 is the 40th Year of “Week of the Young Child”
Week of the young child is celebrated every year, 2011 is the 40th year of its celebration. Barbara Beck, CEO said, “For over 40 years, Learning Care Group has been dedicated to the highest quality care and education. Our vision is to inspire lifelong learning. In observance of this special week, we also honor our dedicated educators that enable our children to have a safe learning environment everyday”.
