Adventure Leader Training

OUR APPROACH

As part of a small dynamic team, you will be immersed in the challenging world of adventure education. The Adventure Leadership Training will develop your skills in a broad range of outdoor activities including:

  • Kayaking
  • Rock climbing
  • Sailing / Windsurfing
  • Tramping
  • Challenge Ropes Course
  • Sea Kayaking

Interspersed with the development of your personal skills, is the opportunity to expand your leadership skills, with specific training in the following areas:

  • Outdoor First Aid
  • Risk Management Training
  • Leadership training
  • Teaching skills
  • Pool Lifeguard Training
  • Instructing adventure activities to an introductory level
  • Actual work experience running activities for children

During the programme you will also get the opportunity to explore yourself as an individual, and your role as part of a team. The development of your team and personal leadership skills is of value for any future direction or pathway.

With the Adventure Leadership Training complete, it is time for the next step.

With work over, now you can explore the world. Equipped with the confidence, independence and resourcefulness gained over the last 6 months, you are well prepared to travel and broaden your horizons before returning home.
